NC Tri-Share Child Care Pilot Program Application
Thank you for your interest in the NC Tri-Share Child Care Pilot Program. We support families who work and live in North Carolina and need access to affordable, licensed Child Care. The Tri-Share program is designed to help working families with household incomes between 185%-300% of the Federal Poverty Level who are not eligible for other subsidized childcare programs.
If families are ineligible because they are below the 185% income and they are unable to access child care because their county has a waitlist, then NCPC can offer them coverage. Employers and the state partner together to help make quality childcare affordable for your family.
Participation
Once a family is approved to participate in NC Tri-Share, a family is certified to receive NC Tri-Share funding.
Participation may be renewed for another year contingent upon State Funding availability. If changes are reported (such as increase in income, updated employment, etc.) recertification may be necessary.
Child Care Providers
- Licensed Child Care Centers
- Licensed Group Child Care Homes
- Licensed Family Child Care Providers
Families may use their existing Child Care provider or select a NC Tri-Share provider of their choice (must match criteria above). If you need help finding a provider, please click here. We strongly encourage families visit and tour child care programs and/or utilize the TOOTRiS Call Center for more help.
