COVID-19 Informational Kit

In support of Child Care providers and families relying on their services, we have made available a set of educational materials on COVID-19 for you to utilize in your classroom or home setting. These include:

• List of facts about COVID-19 supplied by the CDC.
• A laminated hand hygiene poster that demonstrates to kids in five steps how to thoroughly wash their hands with soap and water.
• A step-by step guide on how to properly clean surfaces, towels, linens, and other laundry.
• Best practices recommended by the CDC that providers and parents should be following to stop the spread of germs, such as ensuring objects and surfaces that are touched frequently are disinfected, and everyone should avoid touching their eyes, nose, mouth and appropriately covering cough and sneezes.
• Symptoms that both providers and parents need to look out for within themselves and children along with a list of precautionary steps that everyone can take to manage their health at home.
